A couple in Busia has been caned for allegedly being indiscreet. The punishment was carried out on the order of a village court in Busuwu village in the sub-county of Sikuda. The village court found these two guilty of impulsiveness, following a number of complaints from residents about the couple. The chairman claimed this was a symbolic punishment.
