So in this vlog I talk a bit about when I was homeless. There will end up being another part to this vlog because as I think about it more, more comes back to me. So I'll have enough to make another 2, maybe 3 parts? We'll see. Also, with my memory I have a hard time remembering things when they happened, there's a lot that I'm forgetting but can't think of at the moment. That and I'm going to try and keep this description somewhat short for the sake space as in how many letters you can type into the YT description.

Anyhow I tried to go back to when things got really bad. Like me losing a good job and losing my apartment (which I still miss) and having to stay with a family member for a brief period of time.

At that time I was still drinking, which if you saw from the vlog I did the rule for staying with my family member was that there was to be no alcohol in the house. Of course me, being an addict I drank anyways. I just tried to hide when I was drinking.

So one night (I'm kinda jumping around here, sorry about that, I just quite remember when what happened. I at the time had a fiancé. But my drinking was getting worse. I'd go every where drunk, well for the most part. That and I was still drinking in my family members house. But one night, my fiancée and I got into a small argument so I went to a bar. I didn't wanna deal with it so I got hammered. So when I came back "home" I was caught red handed. This very kind family member could tell I was drunk as soon as I walked into the door. So I have to follow the rules, no drinking or I get the boot. At the point I left. I was still drunk and it was also winter. I don't remember much after that except laying in a snow bank. What I did after that, I have no idea. I don't even know how I got my car back.

So there's this place called Harbor House. It's a place for homeless people can go, especially in the winter. But there's no beds or anything, just chairs. At that point I saw people there that help you with your housing situation so I asked them for help.

I'm trying to this brief, but they gave me the basics and a blanket and a pillow and some other stuff and put me into transitional housing. I was there for around 7 months. This I'll leave for the vlog. But it was a sad and depressing time I went through.

Long story short, I got moved to a motel in Orchard Park with no car. I was living out of garbage bags. Had to get cab rides to and from my appointments. It sucked. But eventually I was able to find an apartment in a good spot and it's pretty nice too.

So that's the jist of this vlog. Like I said I wanna keep this brief for a few reasons. But, no worries more stories will be coming your way. I might make this a Saturday thing. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed the vlog!
