B9 ROBOT from Lost In Space Moebius Model w/Starling Light Kit

I started on this bubble headed booby in late Febraury, and just completed him Mid April. It was quite a task, but I'm really happy with the end result!! Working with electronics and fiber optics was quite a challenge, and the kit requires a lot of modifications to make everything work. I discovered tricks I could have used, as I went along, some before I glued parts so I could use them, some not, but I am not opening this thing back up LOL. I took pictures as I built and put them in this video. I put the power switch on the back of one of the feet, and the button where the microphone goes and modified that part and superglued it to the button. I didn't use air brushing, all painted by hand ( and I'm not the best ) and some of the parts are microscopic it seems. I've seen different kits that can make more lighting but this one did what I wanted and I'm pleased. Also there's a guy turning this same model into a remote control robot that is unbelievable compared to my humble attempt. Anyway, here he is! Hope you like!
