One of the most powerful lessons I remember my father, Jose Silva, teaching was, “Do not follow the path of least resistance.” He strongly emphasized using the power of your body, brain and mind to overcome all challenges.

For example, if you had a headache or body pain, instead of taking strong pain medicine for temporary relief, use the Headache Control technique or the Silva self-pain management technique called Glove Anesthesia, and eliminate it forever. Instead of looking up information such as phone numbers, solutions to problems or ideas for money making ventures, use your Memory Pegs, Mental Screen, imagination, and intuition and access potentially life changing information.

I think you get the idea. This lesson is especially true in today’s changing times where the unknown implications of artificial intelligence are discussed in just about every daily news cycle. And while many of these quick fixes and new technological tools can be or are useful when applied correctly, the questions that needs to be answered are, “How much of our human potential and personal power will we give up by using these tools?” and “How long can humanity survive by giving up this power?”

The choice is yours to make. Take the path of least resistance or be empowered!
