Review: Accurascale Class 66 DCC Sound incl. 66507 Freightliner Powerhaul and 66167 DB Liveries

While a fine model in terms of detail, Hattons original Class 66 was anything but a ready to run model and was one of my most disappointing experiences out of box I've had on this channel. This prompted hundreds of customer returns and a whole subculture of DIY activity to attempt to restore these models to a level of usability. I had still seen enough in the model to be very interested when Accurascale announced they had taken over the design, and were going to engage in a re-run. Was this wishful thinking on my part or were Accurascale able to turn this model into what it should have been first time out. It's time to take a closer look.
