Not quite a normal Firestorm 2 gameplay video from public servers -- this is more focused again on some bug/glitch stuff going on with some public servers at the moment. Where some servers spawn (spam) infinite fires that get extinguished within a few seconds. This means the teams don't really get to fight the fires properly on that server, while it's in this bugged state.

I joined this one and recorded my experience in it while trying to do a light check of how bad things were. Tried to run a command at some point (that Quality Assurance folks have access/permission at this time to use) that should have restarted fires properly on the server. But instead the fires that got generated would stay on the map, and could be put out with water, etc... but the fires would not spread according to the in-game wind conditions.... driptorch embers did not catch things on fire either, as someone tested.

Eventually an admin/staff from the FireX Industries community hopped in-game, and shutdown/restarted the entire public server. Things seemed to work good after that -- I rejoined the same server (it had the same name as the previous one), and flew again around the map checking on the fires actually sticking around properly, etc. Those fires were spreading as normal, people were fighting it by making lines and stuff, and the MDT/minimap wasn't spamming infinite glitched/bugged fires like it was before.

If you play Roblox or like Firefighting, Firestorm 1 and Firestorm 2 is great for a co-operative PVE fun gaming experience (no PVP gameplay at all, my favorite type of games) where you focus on fighting forest fires as a team (servers can hold up to 20-24 players I think!), and it's quite epic at times! I've learned quite a few wildland firefighting things just from being part of this game and community. And while the public servers aren't always realistic, some people try to work together, and those moments it's usually awesome. There are vehicles to drive, tools/equipment to use to defeat the fires and win the match.
