Zerodha MCP
Zerodha users can now connect their accounts to AI assistants like Claude, Windsurf, and Cursor—for free. This is powered by Kite MCP (Model Context Protocol), which enables these tools to access real-time data from your Zerodha account. Users can now query portfolio performance, compare sector allocations with indices like the Nifty 50, and generate summaries—without any coding. All activity is read-only and fully authorized, keeping privacy intact. This makes Zerodha one of the first Indian platforms to make AI-powered personal finance truly accessible.
Minus Zero AI Autopilot
Minus Zero has unveiled a full-stack AI autopilot system for Indian roads, using only camera input. Unlike other systems that rely on LiDAR or high-resolution maps, Minus Zero uses self-supervised foundational AI models. These AI systems learn visually and can handle the unpredictability of Indian traffic—whether it’s pushcarts, cows, or erratic vehicles. Minus Zero previously launched a driverless campus vehicle, and this new system is a leap forward. Currently in a “hands-off, eyes-on” mode, it’s expected to be production-ready in two years, developed in collaboration with major automakers.
Ola Electric Starts Roadster X Deliveries
Bhavish Aggarwal announced that Ola Electric will start delivering the Roadster X electric motorcycle this Friday. After delays since its February launch, this is a long-awaited milestone. The Ola Electric Roadster X comes in three battery variants with up to 252 km range and starts at ₹74,999. Ola Electric has faced repeated criticism for missed timelines, which also affected earlier scooter launches. With Ola Electric’s market share dropping from 52% to 22%, the Roadster X could be its much-needed comeback in the EV market.
Shiprocket IPO Filing
Shiprocket has confidentially filed for an IPO with SEBI, aiming to raise ₹2,000–₹2,500 crore. Of this, ₹1,000–₹1,200 crore will come from fresh shares. Despite a net loss of ₹595 crore in FY24, Shiprocket turned profitable in the first half of FY25 while cutting its cash burn. Shiprocket’s newer verticals like Cross Border and Checkout now make up 20% of revenue and are growing 70–100% year-on-year. Shiprocket recently launched India’s first AI-integrated Model Context Protocol server, enabling seamless AI agent-driven operations for D2C and MSMEs.
