Let's create a dashboard in Power BI and SQL Server for your portfolio using 2024 Olympics Data API!

Описание к видео Let's create a dashboard in Power BI and SQL Server for your portfolio using 2024 Olympics Data API!

Are you a student or aspiring Data analyst interested in APIs, Powershell, or Databases? Here's a project that you can use for your portfolio!

The Brazilian group ‪@codante-io‬ has an amazing API as part of a Hackathon they're sponsoring that returns dates about the 2024 Olympic games. Using Powershell, we were able to download and store the data in CSV files, then push them to SQL Server and build a Report/Dashboard in Power BI!

In this video, we:
1) Discussed the goal and architecture of the project
2) Downloaded the data using Powershell to CSV Files
3) Uploaded the data to SQL Server (not required) using Powershell
4) Created a fully functioning Power BI Dashboard using the data
