‘Han’refers to a unique Korean emotion situated deep inside the heart. ‘Han’means a feeling of resentment against injustices and mind pressed down by bitter sorrow. This performance presents this concept, ‘Han’, from diverse perspectives. This work displays characteristics present in the inner meaning of traditional Korean dance on the stage, selecting boats as a medium to represent individuals and expressing ‘Han’deep inside the hearts through beautiful movements.

'심연'은 가슴 속 깊은 곳에 내제되어 있는 한국 고유의 정서인 '한'에 대하여 이야기한 작품입니다.
한국 전통춤에는 인간 내면의 한을 풀기 위해 만들어진 작품이 많습니다.
'심연'은 이러한 한국 전통 춤의 의미를 되살려 개개인의 현대인들을 배라는 매개체로 반영하고,
'한'을 아름다운 몸짓으로 풀어내는 회복의 기회를 갖고자 합니다.
