This fitted mask style is similar to the Olson style, but does not have a filter pocket. I designed this one to tuck under the chin to be a more fitted style than the Olson. The pattern includes three sizes. Make sure to print it at 100% then check the 3" line against a ruler. If you need a size larger than the larger size, print at 103% or 105% then test it for fit.

This video is great for quilters & sewists who have a stash of fabric to make masks to donate to hospitals and shelters who are in need of PPE (personal protective equipment), or for family and friends. If you are donating to a hospital check with them first about their mask requirements.

HCP have requested that you use a different fabric for the inside and outside of the mask. That way it is easy to tell quickly which side goes against the face.

I mention in the video working in batches. If you are creating a lot of these it will go faster if you do one step at a time on a large batch. So cut out fabric to make 25 masks, then do the next step on all 25, and so on. I have a video showing how I make them in batches here:
