As part of the Automaton Music Series, this etude is a brief experimental musical piece for solo flute. The score uses a unique system that allows the performer to follow a specific movement pattern in three-dimensional space. The performer's movements are captured using a wireless interface called Mugic, developed by Mari Kimura. This movement data is then used to either trigger specific pre-recorded sounds or modify certain aspects of the sound.
