Melissa Stonecipher decided to move out of Anthony Stonecipher's home. There was a court order prohibiting Melissa from removing property other than personal items. On the Morning of the 28th Melissa had keys to her new place and loaded up her station wagon with her personal items. Melissa Stonecipher had been making several threats about attacking Anthony Stonecipher and their roommate. Once Melissa had moved out the locks were changed because Anthony and their roommate were scared of Melissa Stonecipher. At 1400 Melissa tried to have the police force entry into the residence. Their roommate was home and provided a copy of Mr. Stonecipher's Temporary Domestic Order to the police officer. Melissa was turned away as such behavior was prohibited by the Temporary Domestic Order. Melissa and her attorney Raymond VanArnam then conspired together to orchestrate a home invasion. Melissa was sentenced for a Domestic Violence crime of Criminal Damage to Property of a House Hold Member and Raymond VanArnam was sentenced for Criminal Trespass, Tampering With No Trespassing Sign, Larceny, and Criminal Damage to Property.
