Full ball handling and shooting workout. This partner workout was focused on training our ball handling and shooting in a more game-like context by adding in a live defender. If you want your basketball training to transfer to the game, training with a partner is key and these are great examples of drills you can do to see better results. The first two drills were just a ball handling warm up to start to introduce change of speeds and using their off hand which we will get into more in the workout. The next drill from there was working on dealing with pressure while also being able to see the rest of the floor and then get to the rim for a layup. After that we did something similar off the catch just working on some off the catch reads. Then got into pick and roll specific shooting work, focused on setting up our screens to get into a shot. Lastly from there we got into a contested shooting drill and then into some volume shooting.
