LOGIQ3CHAM - the key to increasing productivity in drilling. LOGIQ3CHAM is a family of drills featuring exchangeable heads with 3 cutting edges. Machining cycle times can be reduced by up to 50% when compared to the conventional 2-flute drills.

The LOGIQ3CHAM drills are available in the range of 12 to 25.9 millimeter
or 0.472 to 1.020 inch diameters with 0.1 millimeter or 0.004 inch increments.

The geometry is suitable for machining both ISO P and ISO K materials - steel, ferritic and martensitic stainless steel, and cast iron.

The LOGIQ3CHAM drill’s central element is the H3P 3-flute exchangeable carbide head.
It's self-centering point geometry guarantees drilling process stability, good centering, and smooth penetration into the material capabilities.

A durable and precise chisel point combined with an appropriate gash angle successfully stands against a heavy cutting load.
Concave cutting edges result in smooth and stable drilling, together with a wavy edge shape that significantly contributes to generating the optimal chip form and simplifying the chip evacuation process. The corner chamfer improves wear resistance and strengthens the cutting edge. Dovetail clamping prevents the head from being extracted from its drill body pocket during retraction.

The heads are coated with a PVD nano layer coating, for prolonged and predictable tool life.

The LOGIQ3CHAM drill body carrying an H3P head is based on a variable flute helix angle principle.
This provides a durable body structure to resist high axial load and improve the dynamic rigidity of the body. The body is made from a high-grade tool steel with superior hardness for high wear resistance.A helical margin prevents chip adhesion between the body and the drilled hole.

The head pocket has a large face contact surface, which spreads out the pressure during machining.The pocket design is directed to avoid plastic deformation and increase heat resistance, which prolongs pocket tool life even in difficult conditions.
As a result, the pocket features high repeatability of head replacements.
