If you were wondering if Industrial Plankton Photobioreactor (PBRs) have automated temperature control, let us tell you we do!

Our photobioreactors feature built-in automated temperature control for optimal algae growth. With a chilling coil and heating element, we can maintain temperatures within 0.1 degrees Celsius. This automated temperature control ensures your culture is always at the ideal temperature for maximum productivity. For example, if you want to set your temperature to 22.1 degrees instead of 22, the automated temperature control can do it correctly.

As the chiller can have limitations on its abilities, at Industrial Plankton, we use a standard unit that can handle room temperatures up to 26 degrees while maintaining a temperature of 22 degrees in a culture. Yet, if you find yourself in a hotter environment, we have a high ambient control that allows you to go up to 30 degrees while keeping the same temperature in a culture.
