In today's video, I'm going to teach you how to create a custom 404 page in Wix. This can be a valuable addition to your website as it provides a specific page to guide your visitors back on track if they land on a broken or non-existent link. So, let’s dive right in and walk through this step-by-step process together.


First, you'll want to head over to wix.com. Open your browser, and go to the Wix login page. If you’re not already logged in, take a moment to enter your credentials and sign in. After you’re in, look for the "Wix.com: Website Builder" section. This is where you can see all the websites you’ve previously built with Wix.


Once you're in the dashboard, you'll find a variety of sites if you manage more than one. Select the site where you want to add your custom 404 page by clicking on "Select Site." This will lead you into the specifics of your chosen site, allowing you to make the necessary customizations.


Next, you'll want to go to the design aspect by clicking on "Design Site." This takes you directly to the Wix Editor where all the custom magic happens. Here, on the left side of the screen, you'll see different editing options. Click on the "highlight" section to make sure you have access to the full editing menu that Wix offers.


Now, navigate to the “Pages and Menu” option. This is where all your existing pages are listed. By clicking on "Site Menu," you’ll see a list of current pages live on your site. To begin creating a custom page, look for an option named "Add Page."
