However, a certain proportion also live in upper Quebec, Canada

Originally, they were called Eskimo (i.e., meat eaters) which is considered derogatory to some Inuit people, esp. those in Canada.

Their history is complete handed down through the centuries via word of mouth.

These are people who live, to a large extent, in a nomadic fashion.

The younger kids are becoming more Americanized and less interested in carrying on the hunting and carving traditions of their elders.

Stone carving is a dangerous activity and many Inuit are injured or die during the process.
