Learning Thursdays: Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT): An Introduction

This is an introduction to the CRAFT Model which teaches family members how to take care of themselves and how to change interactions with loved ones and encourage them to seek treatment. This presentation of Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) was developed from a collaboration by Robert J. Meyers, Ph.D. and Jane Ellen Smith, Ph.D.

Learning Thursdays is a recurring free learning opportunity geared toward New York State's addiction and substance use disorder workforce. After you have familiarized yourself with content, go to the OASAS Test Portal, complete an exam on the material, and receive a Certificate of Completion that will go toward the renewal of your OASAS professional credentialing. Some courses are also approved for NYSED Social Work continuing education hours.
