Our contribution to BBC Sports coverage was focused around daily motion graphics content creation. Delivering shots for both pre-match build ups and post-match highlights, our team worked shifts throughout the day & evening ensuring all the programs received the same high-quality content BBC Sport have come to expect from us. Additionally we were tasked with quite a complicated VFX shot from the BBC Sport World Cup title sequence. This was to substitute a shot of Steven Gerrard with one of Wayne Rooney, in time for Rooneys first World Cup appearance that year. The original post-production had been carried out by Rushes on Flame, we were then asked to match the same FX & grade in the field! Needless to say the resulting shot is almost indistinguishable from the one it replaced.
