Mac faints after Spinelli announces to their friends that he cannot marry Maxie. When he comes to, Coleman invites everyone to Jake's for a party. Maxie stops them all and announces to Spinelli and everyone else that she does want to spend the rest of her life with him. She boasts that his unselfish offer just now proves his love for her. After Maxie explains what happened, Kate assures her that she's happy for her and promises to make her actual wedding a perfect one. As the unorthodox reception continues, Jason and Sam catch the garter and bouquet when they are thrown. Mac assures Maxie and Spinelli that he does accept their relationship.
