This entry is the MMORPG Secret World Legends, a remake of the The Secret World. A core tenet of Cosmic Horror is the existence of ancient malevolent powers slumbering beneath the Earth and waiting until the stars are right to emerge and destroy the world. Most games in this genre focus on the heroes preventing these powers from rising and sparing the world a little while longer. Secret World Legends asks "What if these heroes failed?"
