A pastiche of Dark Souls, a parody of Souls-likes, and a dive into video game nostalgia in general, Nostalgaia does an excellent job of deconstructing the genre while also showing enough skill and care to be a great example of it. The world design is unique and well done, with loads of variety and some interesting "haunted back rooms" vibes. The relic remembrance system adds flavor to finding new items and exploring the world, and the combat is solid. Overall, a really good effort and definitely worth trying if you enjoy action RPGs.
