Russell's R2AK2017

In the 2017 Race to Alaska, Team PT Watercraft was a solo entrant: Russell Brown on the G32, Incognito. The G32 is a production boat; an innovative, trailerable, (road legal ), 32ft catamran, designed and built by the Gougeon Brothers, founders of WEST SYSTEM EPOXY. WEST SYSTEM kindly sponsored Russell with sails from North, Russell was the first solo to arrive in Ketchikan, breaking the previous R2AK solo record by just under four days. This video is a comprised of the few videos that Russell took on his way north. We sailed together from Ketchikan back to Port Townsend and there will be a second video with highlights from that trip. Music is by Bryan Boyko
