[4K] Pere Marquette 1225 - The Christmas Revival (Part 2)

It's November and December 2023, and we are back to witness more magic with Pere Marquette 1225, also known as the REAL Polar Express! As previously stated in part 1, we chase this locomotive for five weekends after completing a major running gear rebuild. In part 2, we'll watch diesel PLNX #57 return the North Pole Express excursion to Owosso, MI. This is not a railfan video. It is a cinematic experience of a steam locomotive that continues to spread joy across the world. Want to know how it feels to get in the Christmas spirit by steam? - Note: You'll see some portions of the video where 1225 is not at the rear of the train. That is because, on December 16, she had an overheated bearing issue on one of her driving axles that caused her to decouple from the train and run light back to Owosso. Great Lakes Central 383 would take 1225's place for the 5 P.M. excursion.
