In this unsponsored video, we will contrast and compare two short scale basses by Ibanez: The Talman TMB30 and the Mikro GSRM20. In addition to an A-B playing example to highlight the sonic differences, we will explore the differences in bodies, necks, weight, balance, and scale length between these two short scale basses.

Both basses were recorded direct through a Line6 Pod Go with my usual GK800RB model settings. Level matched, but no EQ or compression was added in post to the bass tracks.

To best appreciate the sonic differences, headphones or quality speakers are recommended.
