Some people have asked me, "The Ekranoplan was supposed
to be a flying boat—have you tested it on water?"
Answer:
Not yet. The current version of my Ekranoplan includes an extra top wing, and I haven’t added winglets with water skids yet.
Here’s why:
Limited Access to Water Bodies: Testing on water is difficult in Pune, India, due to limited access to suitable water bodies.
Even if we manage one or two water tests, the model will primarily be flown over land.

Uneven Ground Surface: The ground surface here is not level enough to consistently generate a stable ground effect (air cushion).
Based on a suggestion from Amit sir, I added a top wing from another aircraft to help with lift and stability. This is a reused wing that had been used on another two RC aircrafts built by me and it's detachable.

To mount the top wing, I simply installed two dowels on the fuselage and used rubber bands to secure it—keeping the design modular and easy to modify.
