Coloured Pencil Drawing - Artist Beginner Tips for Getting Started

Here is the first part of a recent Alpaca drawing tutorial from The Art Membership on my website.

The video explains:

A guide to the landmarks in the line drawing;
The paper that I'll be drawing on;
Colours that I will be using as I draw the eye, fur, nose and ear;
Which pencils strokes that I'll use; and
How I'll be creating the soft fluffy fleece of the Alpaca.

The video is a very quick overview of the things that I think about when starting a colored pencil animal portrait. It's also a guide to help students get ready for the complete tutorial.
