Aathrey's world is a youtube channel here I will show how to draw kolam step by step. Kolam is an ancient art cherished and nurtured till date reflects our tradional culture. When perfected with colours this divine art gets named Rangoli. It plays a major role of Indian families not only during special festive season like new year diwali sankranthi pongal karthigai prathosham Ganesh chathurthi dasara dussehra bogi ugadi christmas holi mattu pongal vaikunda egadasi valentines day akshaya thruthiya Rathasapthami aadi pooram Thai poosam Aruthra tharisanam thiruvathirai Sashti independence day republic day Vijayadhasami sarasvathi pooja Navarathri kundala bogi or bhogi muggulu and Margazhi matham special kolam Aadi matham thai matham karthigai matham soecial kolangal etc but also on normal days. It can be drawn using white powder mixed with rice flour.

These kolam includes all types of kolangal like Sikku kolam neli kolam melikala muggulu chukkala muggulu Kambi Kolam Small kolam big kolam periya kolangal chinna kolam chikku muggulu tippudu padi kolam middle dots pulli kolam.

Depending upon the dots kolangal are of different types ner pulli kolam idai pulli kolam middle dots straight dots inter dots star design rangoli etc. For beginners and kids Small size rangolis are the best and for rangoli competition and kolam Contest big size rangolis are the best.  All types of rangolis are available in our channel.  Pls refer the play list
