In this video we look over a few of the different timbers we see everyday on todays Australian Building site.
This has changed dramatically since the 2020 Covid lock down and total shut down of the Australian forestry and sustainable timber industry in many states across Australia, which has lead to MASSIVE areas of Australian bushland and timber being locked up, and with a HUGE influx of sub-par materials & merch grade timbers and a very scary outset to fire session.

Many homes that we are inspecting at the moment, do not have Australian grown timber & have had to pay exorbitant amounts for materials on site, which in turn is hiking up the cost of construction & ensuring massive repairs in the near future due to these timbers not being suitable to the Australian climate or suitably grown & harvested.
