Zac Brown & Marcus King | Taylor 50th Anniversary Next Generation

Taylor Guitars is turning 50, and we’re celebrating with a special series showcasing artists you’ll be hearing from over the next half-century. We asked some long-time members of the Taylor artist family to pick songwriters and guitar players who are sure to leave a mark on the music world in the years to come. Zac Brown helped us kick off the series by nominating Marcus King of Greenville, South Carolina. At 27 years old, Marcus has already established himself as a talented player and songwriter, launching his recording career with his 2020 debut album El Dorado and following up with his 2022 LP Young Blood. Showing no signs of slowing down, Marcus is on his way to releasing his third record, Mood Swings, produced by famed studio guru Rick Rubin, out April 5, 2024.
