Time to replace the alternator on a high-mileage Honda CRV. No need for bleeding any coolant lines. Just simple removal of nuts/bolts, and loosening of the belt tensioner.

This is specifically working on the CR-V Gen 2 (2002-2006) model year, though you may see some similarities in other models using the 2.4L K24 engine, such as the Civic, Accord, Odyssey, Element, Acura TSX, etc.
