SPONSORED - Columbia College is set to celebrate its 175th anniversary next year, and its long-standing commitment to military-affiliated students and its pioneering role in online education.
The college, which began offering online classes in 2000, serves 8,000 students across its day program in Columbia, online offerings, and more than 15 locations nationwide. Columbia College has a history of supporting military students, a tradition that spans over 50 years.
Columbia College offers 100 academic programs and is in the process of launching six new graduate programs. These new offerings include Management Information Systems, Education Specialist in Educational Administration, Social Work, Athletic Administration, Cybersecurity, and Public Administration.
The college boasts a significant alumni network, with nearly 100,000 alumni worldwide, including 37,000 military-affiliated graduates. In the St. Louis area alone, there are 5,000 alumni within a 30-mile radius.
Columbia College is also known for its athletic achievements, offering 20 NAIA-affiliated sports and having won eight consecutive American Midwest Conference President's Cups.
