A 2011 Harvard University study showed that mindfulness meditation can effectively improve the “correlated memory, self-awareness, empathy” and stress-bearing parts of the cerebral cortex.
The question is, how do we start practicing? The best way to understand and cultivate mindfulness is through meditation practice. This is a widely popular practice and has nothing to do with any religion.
It is suitable for each of us and can be practiced at any time and place.
