Great to be working on behalf of Lancashire County Council once again – this time on the resurfacing of St. Mary’s Way in Rawtenstall.

To minimise disruption on this busy route, our team worked across two consecutive nights, laying 6,400m² of Tarmac’s Ultilayer – a flexible, crack-resisting PMB asphalt designed for highly trafficked roads.

The works were further streamlined by using our pavers in echelon formation, which greatly reduced the time required to complete the resurfacing while also delivering a smooth, high-quality finish.

Our Director, Brian Morrey, commented:

By working nights and paving in echelon, we kept disruption to a minimum while still delivering the durable, high-quality surface that Lancashire County Council and the local community expect."
