My piano students gave me this Kalimba (West African Thumb Harp) for Christmas last year. The notes going from the middle to the right start at middle C and ascend by thirds. The notes going to the left start at D and ascend likewise in thirds. It makes really neat patterns, and I decided to use it as inspiration for this piano improvisation.
All of my improvisations are off-the-cuff, not pre-written or planned. I hope you enjoy listening!
