Greyboxing is an incredibly important step for establishing your game levels. First, define the space you need for your design. This level is for the very first level in the game where you learn to fight in a pirate pub... In my case, the space I need is essentially a rectangle arena with some space around it for a cosmetic crowd to amp up the experience. Secondly, establish what artistic elements really SELL the vibe and context of the space within just 3 or 4 assets. Once thats done - you're set to just dial it up with more content until you're "done"! :) Relax and watch the process of greyboxing a level from start to finish.
