Emerging and being directly confronted by the monolithic icy spire still towering overhead. In the excitement, the weariness and pack-weight, not forgotten, but transformed into vitality and lightness.

This amalgamation of vivid memories serves as the best comparison for this precise inflection point in my life. I am days away from marrying an angelic woman. I am blessed with tremendous love and support from friends and family. There have been hard days, years, and will be yet. But there is a quickening in my zest for each facet of life. I will slow my pace here to drink in the view.
