The ongoing tension between Iran and Israel has intensified, with Iran launching its fifth major missile attack on Israel early Saturday morning. Dozens of missiles were fired in the latest attack, while explosions were heard in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

According to Israeli media, the missiles fired by Iran fell at various locations in Tel Aviv, including an Israeli Defense Ministry building. While two Iranian missiles were also reported to have fallen in Gush Dan. The attack sparked a fierce fire and according to reports so far, at least 63 people have been injured while several buildings have been destroyed.

The Israeli military says that several missiles fired by Iran were destroyed in the air, while others hit their targets. In view of the missile attacks, instructions have been issued to move citizens to safer places.

Iran described the attack as a continuation of "Operation Promised Sadeq III" and said it was a retaliation against Israeli policies. Previously, Iran had fired a total of 150 to 200 missiles at Israel in three intervals over an hour.

The first attack involved 100, the second 50, and the third attack also involved about 50 missiles. According to analysts, these attacks could be a prelude to a wider war in the region.
