Here i'm playing around at the end of the day with my "viking" anvil and hammer, forging some hooks in the style common throughout the viking age, medieval period and beyond. They are forged from some thin mild steel, and take about 10-15 minutes per hook. These turned out to be medium-large size so next time ill start with some even thinner material and see if I can make some a bit smaller.

Turn on subtitles for captions.

These make for a fantastic beginner project with minimal tools, just need a file and a small round punch as well as your anvil, hammer and fire of course.

Now to see if I can catch anything on them!
