In this Let's Play video, you will see me play Dark Quest 4 (Steam Next Fest). Dark Quest 4 is a Virtual Tabletop (Dungeon and Dragons like) Strategy Turn Based Tactics inspired by Hero Quest. Dark Quest 4 dungeon crawling reminds me of the arcade game "Gauntlet" and "Demeo" by Resolution Games. Dark Quest 4 is simple and fun to play. It's a nice representation of playing a Tabletop / Board Game Dungeon Crawling experience with Miniatures. Pick 3 Heroes to go on a Dungeon Quest. Each heroes have their own special stats and action cards. This is NOT a deck builder or card game. The cards only represent their actions and moves to give that Tabletop experience. Earn gold coins from your Quest and unlock new Action cards for your heroes. Customize each Hero by picking 2 Special Action cards from the ones you've unlocked. Pick your Quest from the Quest Giver and Start your Epic dungeon run. Dark Quest 4 shares some similar game mechanics as Gloomhaven, Frosthaven, Wildermyth, Demeo, Crowntakers, Wartile, Successor, The Last Spell, Escape the Mad Empire, Into the Breach, Stone Shard, and Battle Brothers.
