CARTA OG Guide: Switching Modes App

CARTA has two firing modes, they are calibrated through the resistance of the atomizer when attached to the base.

To ensure your device is always in the correct mode, you can use our phone app, (available for both iPhone and Android) or our web app at focusvcarta.com (accessible by any device with Bluetooth capabilities).

When in Concentrate Mode, your device will have a temperature range of 550-800 degrees Fahrenheit through its manual settings and 330-896 degrees Fahrenheit through its app settings. As well as a session time of 45 seconds with the manual settings and 25 seconds to 2 minutes through the app. (maybe a text graphic with temp range and time?)

Tip: If you ever notice your sessions lasting longer than 45 seconds with your Everlast Atomizer you may be in Dry Herb Mode.

When you loosen the atomizer you will see the switch in real-time on your app. This will be marked by the highlighted symbol. When switching to Dry Herb Mode, your device will have a temperature range of 330-550 degrees Fahrenheit with its manual settings (This may need to be adjusted asking JR) and 302-500 degrees Fahrenheit through the app settings. With the lower temperature ranges of Dry Herb Mode, the session times are extended. In Manual Mode, the session will last 3 minutes. When connected to the app a range of 2 minutes to 4 minutes will be available for use.

Tip: Using this lower temperature range with the Dry Herb Atomizer is perfect for non-melt concentrates such as Hash.
