4 Quantitative Proteomics

Описание к видео 4 Quantitative Proteomics

Dr Holger Kramer, Head of Biological Mass Spectrometry & Proteomics, MRC London Institute of Medical Sciences will discuss strategies for quantitative bottom-up proteomics analysis of complex biological samples. Different approaches to data acquisition, including Data-Dependent Acquisition (DDA), Data-Independent Acquisition (DIA) and targeted proteomics analysis will be highlighted. With a focus on the DDA-based analysis technique, label-free and isotopic labelling approaches will be discussed. A particular focus will be placed on experimental design, handling of large data sets, data visualisation and statistical data analysis.

It is with the greatest sadness that I announce the passing Holger Kramer on Tuesday 23rd August 2022, aged 43.
Holger was a highly regarded biological mass spectrometrist with expertise in proteome and metabolite research. He was extremely enthusiastic about his science and anything else he put his mind to. He will be greatly missed in our community and far beyond.
Our condolences and thoughts go to Holger’s family at this difficult time.
Dr Jackie Mosely, Chair BMSS

Holger was a wonderful colleague, a talented scientist and a good friend.
The mass spec world will be poorer without him.

Rod
