Over the past several years Coconino County has received many awards for its innovative initiatives. These include the Community Development Departments new “One Stop Shop,” which streamlined the building permitting process and increased customer service while ensuring a safe and reasonable building process. The County’s Human Resources Department also received recognition for the “Developing of Organizational Talent” rotational program for the development of a continuous leadership pipeline. The Information Technology Department was recently awarded the “2016 Top 10 Digital County” award. These awards are just a few examples of the County’s commitment to deliver services to make Coconino County the best place to live, work and play.
