Disco pants are a staple in my wardrobe, so I'm here to tell you what I think and how I style them... They're super fun and super versatile! TBH, despite saying in the video I was going to replace a pair, I might let them wear out and be the end of an era.... I haven't decided yet. In general I am looking to make my style a bit dressier and I think I'd rather find replacements that work in a similar way (ie highwiasted tight pants) but aren't actually shiny spandex pants and are a bit more forgiving on my body. Obviously I'm conflicted about this but that's the whole point of my journey, right? To figure out exactly what I do and do not want, because the whole reason I started this journey is that I'm a bit stylistically confused. I think once I have other pants options to wear besides the disco pants or my same black skinny jeans I wear most days I will better be able to decide what I want going forward.

I know there are probably people out there who feel the same way so I hope this resonates with people and makes people feel ok being in a similar position. Being in my late 30s is a really weird transition time because I still feel the same way I did 15 years ago, but I'm trying to set myself up for being happy in the future and being ok with a different lifestyle because I CAN'T keep up with the way I was living (nor do I particularly want to). This is not the only area in life where I'm going through a similar struggle but for some reason dealing with the fashion side of it has made dealing with the rest of it a little easier.
