In this video I’ll be checking to see if there are any performance increases and fixes with the upcoming IOS 14.6 update. As of now, I am currently testing with IOS 14.6 Beta 3. I’ll also be showing results of how IOS 14.5.1 is severely throttling the performance of both the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 series.

Tech Jargon:

CPU - Central Processing Unit. The processor is the "brain" of a device. It's what handles the instructions of software apps. All phones have a processor of some kind. it may be integrated into the main cell phone chip, or be a separate computer chip.

GPU - Graphics Processing Unit. The part of a device's circuitry that handles the display and animation of visual elements. GPU usually handles all mobile gaming.

GeekBench 5 - is a cross-platform benchmark that measures your system's CPU performance with the press of a button.

3DMark Wild Life Extreme - a more demanding cross-platform benchmark for comparing the graphics performance of mobile computing devices.
