The apartment has an area of ​​22 square meters (239 square feet) and a ceiling height of 3.0 meters (9.8 feet) with the design requirement from the homeowner being a lot of storage space and especially airy, smart dining table design hidden in the kitchen cabinet and Murphy bed make the space extremely airy, raising the level of common functional areas including bedrooms, living rooms, and offices helps create storage space and separate them from the remaining functional areas, kitchen and dining area are quite spacious, the bathroom is spacious and modern.
In many of Europe's older cities, small living spaces can be quite common, especially in cities as old and as dense as Paris, France. Over the years, we've appreciated a number of interesting small space renovations and quirky conversions in the City of Lights, ranging from a former doorman's residence, a bathroom-turned-micro-apartment, to an old garage transformed into a home for a family of four. And as anyone who's lived in a small apartment will tell you, a lot of creativity and careful attention to details is needed to maximize the space that's available, and to make all the miscellaneous pieces work together.
No matter how big your home, you want to be able to maximize your use of the space. In a larger area, this is a bit easier to do with the careful placement of furniture and organized storage solutions. However, as a home gets smaller, space-saving solutions have to get a bit more creative. One way to maximize space in a small home is through the use of levels. We see this often in lofted bed designs, but there are myriad ways to use vertical space to keep a small home organized and feel spacious. Tiny apartment featured in this post are a bit undersized, but in their design, certainly don't feel that way.
