eg dc subframe steering rack install - k swap jdm honda crv rd1

In this episode we figure out how to make a eg subframe dc integra steering rack and crv pinion gear work together to make a kswap k24a3 awd manual setup function in the rd1 chassi.
you could use ekk6 mounts and keep the crv subframe stock, but this does not give you optimal drive shaft angle.
placing the engine too high and too forward.
Using the ekk2 swap kit from hasport requires an eg civic or dc subframe, the way the steering coolum meets the rack on the crv is unique so it requires you keep the crv pinion gear.
The pinion gear from the crv will not swap into a eg civic steering rack so you will require a integra steering rack.
For this reason it is best to find a dc2 rack and steering rack as one.
make sure you keep the eg or dc subframe bolts as they are different lengths than the crv subframe bolts.
dc2 db8 and db6 racks and subframes are all the same.
