I’m Plamen, and yes—we’ve been working through the sunscreen to bring you the latest from our July 2025 release.
This release includes some important under-the-hood upgrades—one to a core library, and another to how we handle secure connections with external systems. These changes improve compatibility, boost security, and simplify configuration— without adding complexity for admins. Want the full story? Email notifications just got a major upgrade. With Microsoft deprecating Basic Auth for Exchange Online, ST now supports SMTP OAuth 2.0—keeping your alerts secure and future-proof. And for those using DNS round-robin setups, we’ve added SMTP hostname resolution support, so you can rely on multiple IPs without manual workarounds. These changes ensure your notifications stay compliant, resilient, and easy to configure.
Admins, rejoice! We’ve just made managing Login Restrictions a whole lot easier. You can now search policies by name—wildcards included—and drill into rules by name or IP. Need to filter by rule type? Go ahead—Allow, Deny, All—it’s all there. These enhancements bring consistency with Route Templates and clarity to your admin workflows. It’s faster, smarter, and built with your feedback in mind.
Not related to the July release, but is about time to share with you our plans for In Person User Groups this year. From the community portal you can reach to the list with User Groups. Marked with In Person are those I want to bring today to your attention. Find the one that suits you, or send us a request for new location. Open the respective event and register.
