Today we visit Zadar, Croatia, an ideal day trip, offering a perfect mix of history and seaside charm. The Old Town sits on a small peninsula, making it easy to explore on foot with limited time ashore.

We also popped into a local lolly shop, a fun and unexpected stop filled with colourful treats that added a sweet moment to the day before heading to the waterfront. Zadar is home to the famous Sea Organ, where waves create natural music, and the Sun Salutation, a circular light installation that comes alive at sunset.

With great views, relaxed cafés, and a laid-back atmosphere, Zadar is easy to enjoy at your own pace. Even on a short visit, this coastal city leaves a lasting impression and makes for a memorable cruise day stop.
