"I was actually enjoying it..." Chris said ashamed.

"Some people have no respect for others enjoying their suffering," Palutena said.

"...What's she doing here?" Fox asked. "Didn't she stop getting focus earlier?"

"Just roll with it, and please don't remind me about my stellar appearance in this story," the goddess said chuckling.

Diddy goes solo...somewhere, until a wild RAYQUAZA appears to eat him. It looks like Fox had all the time in the world to make a badass entrance and save Diddy. The two tag-team against Rayquaza and defeat it. Fox is about to leave...somewhere, but it takes Diddy one gibberish monkey talk and collar drag to convince Fox to follow him. REALLY MAKES SENSE IN CONTEXT.

"Alright, I shall do the same whenever I need desperate help," Chris said.

"Works wonders, I know," Diddy agreed.

"Stop treating me as comic relief!" Fox yelled.

"It is impossible, Fox. This scene alone was meant to give you this role, and you shall play it so," Palutena said. "Serves you right for making a cool entrance right when Diddy was about to be dragon food. You should remove the 'Likes to act cool whenever possible' fact from your bio."

"And that's why I so stubbornly dragged him away. Because he just HAD to make a cool entrance to save me!" Diddy said.

"I-ah, Chris, help me here!" the vulpine said.

"Oh no, you're alone in this! You really had no right to wait till the last second to appear like that!" Chris argued, making Fox groan.

First Part: A Wild Rayquaza Appears! What Will the Odd Couple Do?

- Honestly speaking, Rayquaza's got high defense, and it's one of the hardest bosses to beat in this game. In short, this is a battle of survival if you don't hit it fast. It doesn't really help that Intense makes it faster and deadlier...

Second Part: Gotcha! Fox was Persuaded!

- Prepare yourself for confusing paths because this stage has the oddest mechanic: Two sides that open up in different ways as you travel through them.

Third Part: A...Shiny Bowser Appears!

- It's just an Eviler Shadow Bowser. Beat him to reason to proceed.

After the battle, the Fake Bowser dissolves, and the duo is barely turned into trophies by Bowser. Oh, and you did notice Fox was the one who dragged Diddy away this time, right?

"Tsk, tsk! Diddy made it even at the lake, but Fox's egotistical side had to screw it up here," Palutena said.

"I DRAGGED HIM AWAY BECAUSE HE WAS GOING TO DIE THERE!" Fox yelled angrily.

"Silly Fox! You can't die in this story! You only turn into a trophy!" Diddy said.

"(Didn't he think DK was murdered two stages ago...?)" Chris thought with a grimace, watching Fox pull the fur on his head.
